NO EXCUSES for drinking and driving if you’re in California and about 20 other states throughout the country. It has always been a rule of thumb in our household, “DON’T Drink and Drive and NEVER EVER RIDE with anybody who does. AAA, the Roadside Assistance service company is offering a FREE program called TIPSY TOW service and it is NOT exclusive for members only, it is for ANYBODY NEEDING A RIDE during the New Year’s holiday and other holidays throughout the year. Yes you read that correctly, you don’t have to be a AAA member and it is FREE! It is available in most areas from 6pm-6am on New Year’s Eve to New Year’s Day. EVENT CITY™ members have actually used the Tipsy Tow service last year and found it to be very helpful and comforting knowing if they were a bit too festive they would have a solution for getting home safely.

The  Tow-to-Go or Tipsy Tow service is also available during certain holidays for members and nonmembers alike. This service is not available everywhere though. It is always encouraged for all family and friends to pick a designated driver before they head out on New Year’s Eve.

To utilize the Tipsy Tow service please call the AAA Roadside Assistance Center standard phone number 1-800-222-HELP or 1-800-222-4357. You can also visit the AAA WEBSITE for further details. We have received a AAA approved list below of  AAA Clubs currently offering the Tipsy Tow programs:
